Terms of Service
Last updated: May 15, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of professorai.tech and its associated services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Professor AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Professor AI provides an AI-powered platform for educators, course creators, and tutoring businesses to generate:
- Explainer videos — Manim-animated educational videos with voiceover, generated from text prompts.
- Interactive Labs — Browser-based STEM simulations generated from text prompts.
Outputs are AI-generated. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that generated content is free of errors.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Credits and Payments
The Service operates on a credit-based model. Free credits are provided upon registration. Additional credits can be purchased via our payment processor, Dodo Payments. When you initiate a credit purchase, you will be redirected to Dodo Payments’ secure checkout page to complete the transaction.
- All purchases are final. Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- Credits do not expire and are tied to your account.
- Prices are displayed in USD. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees.
- We reserve the right to change credit pricing at any time. Changes do not affect credits already purchased.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform’s API or infrastructure
- Circumvent credit limits, access controls, or any security measures of the Service
- Misrepresent the source or authorship of AI-generated content in ways that deceive others
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the prompts and source materials you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.
Generated outputs (videos and Labs) are provided to you for your use. We do not claim ownership of the outputs you generate. However, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of outputs complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.
The Professor AI name, logo, and platform code are our intellectual property and may not be used without our prior written consent.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI-generated outputs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Professor AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination unless required by law.
